Armed Forces Day 2009

Thousands of people gathered to celebrate Britain’s first Armed Forces Day on 27 June. Events took place all over the country to honour past, present and future service personnel, and an estimated 3,000 Armed Forces Day flags were flown by councils, businesses, schools and homes nationwide.
