Remembrance video creators receive top web accolade
Virtual creative agency Rivers Run Red has won a prestigious award for its recent creation for the Royal British Legion.
The agency has receivedan 'Official Honoree' distinction at the12th annual Webby Awardsfor its work creating a virtual Cenotaph for the website Second Life.
Hailed as the 'Oscars of the Internet' by the New York Times, The Webby is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, including Websites, Interactive Advertising, Online Film & Video, and Mobile Websites.
This year, over 10,000 entries were sent in from over 60 countries, but fewerthan 15% received Official Honoree status.
In a statement, the Legion said: “The Royal British Legion congratulates Rivers Run Red on this recognition and once again thanks them for their generous voluntary contribution in creating the site.”
