Sharon Osbourne's poppy fetches £2,850 for Legion funds

A bespoke poppy worn by X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne has raised £2,850 for the Legion’s appeal in an online auction.
The unique poppy was created by jewellery designers Yarwood-White, and features hundreds of red Swarovski crystals surrounding a faceted black onyx centre stone.
The piece has also been signed by Sharon herself.
Russell Thompson, the Legion’s Director of National Events and Fundraising, said: “We are delighted that Sharon is donating the funds raised from the auction of her poppy to the Legion. This kind gesture will assist us in reaching this year's Poppy Appeal target of £27.5 million and help spread the message to those who have served and their families that if they fall on hard times, the Legion is there for them."
