Around 1,000 Legion delegates descended on Eastbourne in May for The Royal British Legion¹s 2009 Annual Conference. The two-day event saw Lieutenant General Sir John Kiszely, deliver his first keynote speech as National President as well as the passing of an Emergency Motion on the state of equipment used by serving personnel.
